Required: Creative Designer

We are looking for an individual to join our team as a creative designer.

In these challenging times, we're capturing a lot of market share and we are constantly growing our marketing efforts. Now we need to lay the groundwork for a growth-centric year in 2021 by building a great team that can help us compete with the insurance giants.


We are looking for someone with no fear of failure, who loves to draw and create various designs and visuals to feed our marketing strategy. Growing isn't only in our business plan, as this role is a great opportunity to learn and grow as a digital marketer alongside some of the best in the industry.

You might be a fit for the role if you thrive in brainstorm sessions and if you feel like you don't have enough occasions to create for all the ideas you generate in one day.  You will be asked to bring your ideas and concept to the table while working in close collaboration with a cross-functional team of marketers, engineers, creatives and directly with the CEO.

In this role, you will:
  • Make and test tons of new creatives to improve performance across all of our new channels in collaboration with our creative team
  • Be the creative engine of our online marketing strategy by designing our ads across multiple channels
  • Support the creation of user acquisition campaigns on different channels like Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Snapchat, Google, influencers, etc.
  • Work hand in hand with our CMO to carve our path as the Canadian leader in online Life Insurance distribution, deploying seven-figure marketing budgets.

In this role, you will learn:

  • How to scale creative campaigns and influencers campaigns on social media
  • Sort through well-known and unconventional user acquisition channels and set up tests to measure how well they perform and scale. Come up or discuss new test ideas for existing or new channels and campaigns
  • How to work in a data driven environment
  • How to work in an agile environment with fast test & learn cycles
  • Track and report on campaign performance using LTV and cohorts analysis. Uncover growth and optimization opportunities with your own queries and reports
A perfect candidate has:
  • 2+ years experience in graphic design
  • Good creative thinking, ability to bring new ideas and think outside of the box
  • A passion for online marketing and advertising
  • The ability to work with minimal guidance, be proactive and to handle uncertainty, ambiguity and the challenges of quickly evolving goals
  • Ability to work in both an English and a French environment
  • You should be comfortable working in a small team and a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

  • Experience in mobile user acquisition or media campaigns
  • Knowledge of Figma and video editing tools
  • Experience with analytics and tracking tools
  • Copywriting skills
