Amelia is one of those names that just invokes image of romantic far-off places from the 20s. Or a female pilot. Or the constantly frazzled children’s book character Amelia Bedilia. All this to say Amelia has been reaching its peak in popularity in recent years. Now’s a good time to be an Amelia—it’s not as ubiquitous as Sophia, but not as obscure as Elspeth. It’s just right.
