The name Bodie is a boy's name . The Bodie spelling—in the US Top 1000 since 2014—may be an attempt to Anglicize and phoneticize the fast-rising boys' Sanskrit name Bodhi, but it may also make it more confusing. Is that pronounced like body or like, well, Bodhi, which rhymes with Jody and Cody? It's the latter.
