The feminine form of Daniel, Danielle has enjoyed a long history of popularity. And like many other names that were huge in the 80s (name overload perhaps?), Danielle has been on the decline since the early 2000s. Its previously not-as-popular name sister Daniela has recently eked past Danielle in the name charts.
