Elijah

Elijah has one of the more awesome biblical backstories amongst boy names. Elijah was a prophet who, at the end of his life, was swept up into heaven in a chariot of fire instead of suffering the usual ho-hum old man death. Despite this fantastic history, it’s not a mega-hit like other biblical boy names such as David and Daniel. However it has been gaining major ground in the past decade and is now firmly esconced in the Top 50.
