Johan combines Old Europe charm with modern maturity. It’s the Nordic variation of John, and it’s about as popular in Sweden, Norway and Finland as John is in America. Two Prime Ministers of Norway and four Kings of Sweden were named Johan, so it has a regal and sophisticated air to it.
