Miles has long been the epitome of cool—both the great jazz trumpeter and his name (he was actually Miles Davis III.) In tandem with the related Milo, it has been climbing up the popularity charts. Miles is one of the children in Henry James The Turn of the Screw, and has been heard on TV shows from Murphy Brown to 24 and the blockbuster film Avatar.
