Paul

Paul may mean “little,” but Paul was a big deal in the Bible. The apostle and evangelist Paul (formerly Saul) was an important leader in the church whose letters to early Christians comprise many New Testament books. It’s also the name of American folklore star Paul Bunyun—the giant lumberjack who wandered around the lands with his blue ox, Babe. The name is a perennial favorite amongst parents, although it’s popularity has dropped slightly in recent times.
