Samuel

Samuel has long been a popular biblical name. In the Bible Samuel was a judge and prophet in early Israel who annointed Saul and David as kings. Two Old Testament books are named for him. The name was propelled into current popularity via that friendly nickname Sam, which came back into favor along with one-time pinochle partners Jake and Max.
