Selene

Daughter of Greek titans Hyperion and Theia, Selene was a lunar deity who presided over the moon and all it represented: the night, the tides and fertility. While this unique name is not currently popular, bookish mythology buffs could instill in their daughter all the mystery and wonderment of this goddess.
